Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and ProductScope (“we”, “us”). They cover the ProductScope Chrome extension and the website at productscope.org.uk (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

ProductScope is a browser extension that reads product information from Amazon pages you open in your own browser and shows estimates such as monthly sales, revenue, profit and keyword ideas. Which features you can use depends on your plan. We may improve, change or remove features over time.

3. We are not Amazon

ProductScope is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon. Amazon and its logos are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. You are responsible for following Amazon’s terms and policies when you use the Service.

4. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.
  • Give us accurate information and keep your password safe. You can also sign in with Google.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share it or sell access to it.
  • You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

5. Free trial

A new account receives 24 hours of Professional-level access without payment details. The trial is limited to one per person. We may refuse or end a trial if we reasonably believe someone is creating several accounts to get more than one. When the trial ends, you need a paid plan to keep using the Service. Products you saved remain in your browser.

6. Plans, payment and renewal

  • We offer Basic and Professional plans, billed monthly. Current prices and features are shown on our pricing section and again at checkout. Prices are in US dollars and may include taxes.
  • Our order process is run by our reseller Paddle.com, who is the Merchant of Record. Paddle takes your payment, issues receipts and handles tax. Paddle’s checkout terms apply to your purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
  • If we change a price, we will tell you in advance and the new price applies from your next renewal.
  • If a renewal payment fails, you keep access for a short grace period of up to 3 days. After that, access ends until payment succeeds.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the account page in the extension. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

8. Fair use and limits

Each plan has limits, such as how many products you can analyze per run and per day, and how many you can save. You agree not to:

  • get around plan limits, trial limits or any technical restriction;
  • use the Service to collect Amazon data in ways the extension does not offer, or in a way that breaks the law or Amazon’s rules;
  • copy, resell, sublicense or share the Service or your access to it;
  • reverse engineer or tamper with the Service, except where the law allows it despite this term;
  • interfere with our servers or other people’s use of the Service.

We may slow down, limit or suspend use that harms the Service or other users.

9. Estimates are not guarantees

The figures ProductScope shows are estimates built from public information and standard assumptions, including default fee values. They may be wrong or out of date. They are not financial, tax or legal advice. Business decisions you make using the Service are your own responsibility.

10. Your data

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Products you save and your settings are stored in your browser and belong to you.

11. Our rights in the Service

We own the Service, including the extension, the website, and our designs, names and logos. While you have an account in good standing, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own business in line with these terms. All other rights are reserved.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. Amazon may change its pages, which can temporarily affect how the extension works. We may change or stop parts of the Service. If we make a change that materially reduces what you paid for, we will give notice and you may cancel for a refund of the unused period.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if a payment is not made. If we end your access without a breach by you, we will refund the unused part of your current paid period. Sections that by their nature should continue after the end of the agreement, such as limits on liability, will continue.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty about it, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or results.

15. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects any consumer rights you have under the laws of your country.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, where we operate. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Pakistan, except that if you are a consumer you may also have the right to bring a claim in your own country, and mandatory consumer laws there still apply to you.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new date. For material changes we will also tell you by email or inside the extension. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
